Apparently, wonk is a fairly common word, but it's a new one for me. From Merriam-Webster:
Wonk noun \ˈwäŋk, ˈwȯŋk\
: a person preoccupied with arcane details or procedures in a specialized field; broadly : nerd <a policy wonk> <a computer wonk>
A vegan wonk as in someone preoccupied with the details and ideas behind being vegan and the new website Lindsay is working on with a friend from TN. The site is still being built. More information to come!
